Director Majeed Marancheri is coming to recreate the magic of 1975's Super Hit movie Rasaleela A 1975 Malayalam movie Rasaleela starring Kamal Hassan and Jayasudha A super hit of 70's is coming again on 31st August 2012 with Darshan and Prathistha as lead actress. New Version is not exactly a frame-to-frame remake. The Second half of the film reveals the present generation. Sentiments and values can be timeless. But that treatment and the predictable commercial formula still Valuable. Music was a highpoint of Kamal's blockbuster. Here, thankfully, Sanjay Chaudhary has retained the composition of the evergreen numbers. One would never be able to forget songs like 'Aayilyam Paadathe Penne, 'Manaykale Thathe' and 'Nishasurabhikal' that were huge hits indeed. The remake would mark the coming together of the next generation of artistes - Sanjay Chaudhary (son of Salil Chaudhary), Vayalar Sharath and Vijay Yesudas.
